Ingredients
2 Ripe Bananas
1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Dates
1 and 1/2 Cups of Quick-Cook Oats
1/2 Cup Ground Walnut
1/2 Cup of Unsweetened Apple Sauce
Chef's Tip
Always wash your hands very well before cooking or baking.
Clean as you cook, so you don't end up with a pile of washing up at the end!
If you want to, you can always add some chocolate chips to this recipe.... It's also a good breakfast if you need to rush out!
Method
STEP 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C
STEP 2
Peel the bananas and put them into the mixing bowl. Mush them up with a fork until they look like a paste.
STEP 3
Add all the other ingredients into the mixing bowl and mix it up with a wooden spoon.
STEP 4
Line a baking tray with baking paper.
STEP 5
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the mix onto the baking tray. One scoop will be one cookie. Flatten the cookie mix a little with your clean fingers.
STEP 6
Bake for 20 - 30 minutes, or until Golden Brown (Ovens can be very different, so check them at 15 minutes).
STEP 7
Take them out the oven and leave them to cook a little on the tray.
STEP 8
Once they are cool enough, you can try one! ...Or serve them
